What we do

We post on Reddit as an engineer, not as Coldtea. Two posts a week.

One post a week is written to get traction in the subreddit that day. Real discussion, real comments, traffic on the same day it goes up.

The other post a week is written to rank in Google for a specific question buyers search. That one is slower. It keeps pulling traffic for months after it goes up.

Short term. First 8 weeks.

WhatTarget
Posts live16 to 20
Clicks to coldtea.ai1,000 a month
Posts that land hard2 to 3

1,000 clicks a month is realistic. Being straight with you about how it happens: it does not come evenly from 20 posts. Most posts do fine and send a bit of traffic. Two or three posts land properly and send most of the 1,000. That is how Reddit works. We plan for it by posting enough to get those hits, not by expecting every post to win.

Long term. Months 2 to 3.

WhatNowMonth 3
AI answers naming Coldtea0%12 to 18%
Share of voice0%6 to 10%
Prompts Coldtea appears in0 of 258 to 12 of 25

Google rankings take 2 to 3 months to show up. The Reddit posts we write in week 1 are what rank in month 3. Same for AI answers. The engines need the content to exist before they can quote it.

We re-run the same 25 prompts every month so you can see the number move. Same test every time, so the comparison is real.

Also doing

Medium posts. AI engines quote Medium a lot. Same content strategy, second surface, and it costs us little extra once the Reddit post is written.

If we spot things on your own site that are stopping you ranking, we tell you. Titles, page structure, missing comparison pages. We are not rebuilding your site. We just pass on what we see while we are in the data.

Where we post

Ordered by how active each subreddit is on Coldtea's exact topics. Not by size.

r/ClaudeAI400 to 2,000 upvotes on agent workflow posts
r/ClaudeCodeClaude Code power users, 100+ comment threads
r/ChatGPTCodingtest automation posts do well here
r/vibecodingships fast, breaks prod. Exact pain.
r/ExperiencedDevssenior engineers, build vs buy
r/devopsCI/CD and preview environments
r/QualityAssuranceslower, but high intent
r/webdevbig reach, skeptical crowd
r/SaaSfounders deciding what to pay for
r/programmingstrict rules. Later, once the account is established.

Real threads already running on these topics: "AI Coding Agents Broke My App, here is the regression system that kinda works" in r/ClaudeAI. "Killed regression pain in my SaaS by pairing my test agent with Claude Code" in r/saasbuild. "Claude Code redesigned for parallel agentic work", 366 upvotes and 118 comments. The audience is already talking about this.

How we build the account first

Weeks 1 to 3 the account does not mention Coldtea at all. It posts about agent workflows, regressions and test maintenance, and comments more than it posts. An account that shows up and immediately recommends a tool gets called out and downvoted.

Weeks 4 to 8 Coldtea gets mentioned as one option among several, always next to real alternatives.

Weeks 9 to 12 we write direct experience posts. Specific numbers, honest about what Coldtea does not do, cost included.
